The bikes are ready, our bags are packed ande we are ready to go!!! We will leave from the 2nd ave parking lot on the bike trail in Pittsburgh and head east to Meyersdale, let the adventure begin!!

August 13, 2016 - Tomorrow, Turner and I will prepare out bikes so we are ready to leave on Monday August 15,2016

Turner and I will set out for Cumberland MD on the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) on Monday August 15, 2016. We plan to ride it in 4 days from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, arriving in Cumberland on Thrusday August 18. On Friday August 19, we will spend the day exploring the C&O Canal Trail returning to Cumberland to spend the night. On Saturday August 20, we will take the Capitol Limited Amtrak train from Cumberland back to Pittsburgh. This will be Turner's second long distance touring ride so we are both excited to begin this adventure!!
